My partner and I decided to go on a tour of melbourne jewellers and stumbled across Larsen towards the end of our day. We were looking for a custom made engagement ring and this place blew every other place out the water - admittedly we were a but intimidated walking into the place but were instantly made to feel at ease by Alex who handled the situation incredibly well.

We had a brief idea of what we wanted but Alex asked all the right questions and showed us different compositions and ended up sketching the ring for us and ordering in some stones, all before we paid a cent. We were so lucky to have found Ben at Larsen Jewellery. My partner had a unique engagement ring design and the minute Ben saw the reference photo he was confident he knew exactly what she wanted. To sit down with a jeweller (while watching another work in the studio) was completely different to the showroom/salesperson experience we had at other companies.

We started Larsen Jewellery over a decade ago with one simple premise: offering high-quality and ethically made jewellery directly from the jewellery studio where it is made. We’ve grown a fair bit since then, but that guiding principle hasn’t changed.

Why should I choose to have jewellery custom-made?

Custom making jewellery means you get exactly what you want. Often the pricing is comparable to ready-made and you don’t need to compromise your vision. You can choose the perfect diamond and style while consulting with an expert to ensure your special piece will stand the test of time.

Can you match my existing jewellery?

Yes. We specialise in creating engagement rings that can be customised to the finest detail to ensure they match your wedding ring in every way. Whether you have a vintage engagement ring or would like a pair of earrings to match your favourite pendant, we can help.

How long does it take to have something custom-made?

This depends on the complexity of the design you choose. Our bespoke pieces are usually ready in 3 to 7 weeks. Perfection can’t be rushed and is well worth the wait. We will always give you an accurate timeframe before you place your order.

What types of jewellery do you make?

In addition to engagement and wedding rings, we make a wide range of other custom-made fine jewellery, including eternity rings, dress rings, earrings and pendants. We also have a range of ready-to-wear jewellery if you are after a gift and don’t have time to wait for a bespoke piece to be made.

Do you sell coloured gemstones?

Yes. We are passionate about coloured gemstone, including pink diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, aquamarine and tanzanite, and can show you a range of loose stones to choose from. Click here to view our range of sapphire engagement rings.

Yes absolutely, we have many clients from around Australia, including Perth, Adelaide and regional Australia. We offer phone consultations and can work with you by email, and we can post the final piece to you fully insured within Australia.
