Larsen Jewellery Reveal the Details of the 2020 The Bachelor Australia Ring

Larsen Jewellery is delighted to have custom-made the ring for The Bachelor Australia Series 8 as the Official Ring Partner for the fourth consecutive year – and this year it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

September 24, 2020: Australian jeweller Larsen Jewellery is very excited to once again partner with The Bachelor Australia (Season 8) as the Official Ring Partner and to have been able to assist the Bachelor Locky Gilbert in designing and creating this year’s stunning commitment ring he has given to Irena.

In preparation for the finale episode, Senior Larsen Jeweller, Nicole Donaghy met with Locky for a one-on-one jewellery consultation. Locky and the team at Larsen Jewellery worked together to create a unique ring to commemorate this moment for Locky and his chosen Bachelorette Irena. Locky was captivated by the beauty and variety of colours of some truly unique gemstones presented to him.

“The custom-made ring is set with a striking 6.14ct pear shape purple Tanzanite gemstone accentuated by two marquise diamonds and two pear cut diamonds. The setting is shaped in the form of a shell, which was important to Locky” Larsen Senior Jeweller, Nicole Donaghy says.

“I met with Locky to discuss his ideas for the perfect ring for Irena. I showed him various gemstones and diamonds and we spoke about ensuring the ring was modern and stylish. We used fancy shaped side stone accents, a design that is very popular and we chose a coloured gemstone, as many young women prefer these over the more traditional white diamond. Locky was very thoughtful in wanting to design a ring that would be meaningful.” Nicole continues.
