What does a champagne diamond symbolise?
Whether it’s a solitaire or a more complex design, a champagne diamond can symbolise whatever you want it to mean. Because of its colour, some see it as a grounding stone to bring you closer to nature. For others, the association with champagne wine is reminiscent of celebrations and happiness.
Is a champagne diamond the same as a chocolate diamond?
Champagne and chocolate diamonds sit broadly within the same colour range. Chocolate diamonds is a relatively new term replacing the previous label of cognac. They are typically a darker brown stone that, well, looks like chocolate. Champagne diamonds are much lighter, like the colour of their namesake, featuring pale caramel tones and brownish-yellows.
