Are halo engagement rings dated?
We don’t think halo engagement rings are dated — particularly not if you choose a design you’re in love with. An engagement ring is about what it means to you, so if you enjoy it, it’s never dated.
How many carats does a halo add?
The short answer is it depends on the halo, and the size of the centre stone. If you’re looking to include a traditional halo, often they add upwards of 0.3 carats to the overall weight. Of course, a double halo, or a halo around a larger carat stone, will weigh more. There are other benefits of adding a halo, too, like the additional brilliance and shimmer of many small stones.
What is a cluster halo?
A cluster halo is a halo in a ring design that’s created with a range of different sized stones, rather than purely the smaller stones typically used in both halos and pave settings.
