Are peach sapphires good for engagement rings?
Yes, peach sapphires (and other colour sapphires, like pink, yellow, teal and blue) are good for engagement rings. They’re a 9 on the Moh’s Scale and are durable enough for everyday wear.
Are peach sapphires rare?
Yes, peach sapphires are relatively uncommon. Padparadscha sapphires, a more saturated sapphire in the same colour range is one of the rarest types of sapphires. Certain hues of green are also relatively uncommon to find.
How much is a peach sapphire?
A peach sapphire is on the more expensive side for sapphires, though much less expensive than a padparadscha. Sapphires generally cost a fraction of the cost of diamonds.
What does a peach sapphire engagement ring symbolize?
In many cultures, peach sapphires have taken on the meaning of peach blossoms. Some of those meanings include: vitality, fertility, generosity and happiness.
