What is mokume made of?
Mokume is made of a combination of different metals. For these wedding rings, they’re made of a combination of yellow, white and rose gold, with silver.
What is the difference between Mokume Gane and Damascus?
Damascus steel is made using iron alloys, where mokume gane is made using precious metals including silver and gold.
What is a mokume pattern?
Mokume, to many people, looks like a wood grain. Generally, mokume rings include unique, organic and flowing patterns created using various techniques to expose the different layers of metal.
